WHAT ARE AERONAUTICAL AND SPACE ENGINEERING?

Aerospace engineers are employed by a large number of aviation manufacturing companies in Malaysia to perform maintenance on various types of aircraft. An aerospace course would prepare you to create and implement various manufacturing systems for a specific kind of aircraft, create maintenance schedules, and meet production targets while managing a group of engineers on the factory floor. Due to the job’s high level of technicality, extensive on-the-job training may be necessary.
Workfram for aerospace engineers
In terms of aeronautics, the coursework emphasizes
- Aircraft engine research,
- Vertical takeoff,
- Landing systems (for drones or helicopters),
- And aeroacoustics and noise issues.
The design-build-fly (DBF) capstone project that students must complete to complete the semester requires them to construct their own remotely piloted vehicles.
By the time they graduate, students will be able to formulate and address new technical issues in their chosen discipline using the fundamentals of engineering analysis and design.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO STUDY IN Aerospace Engineering
- With at least a Credit in THREE (3) subjects—including mathematics—and a Pass in the English Language, a diploma pass SPM is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A minimum C grade in two subjects from the list of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and
- Mathematics/Additional Mathematics at the SPM/GCE O-Levels or an equivalent examination.
- A minimum C grade in mathematics or additional mathematics, one science subject, and two other subjects from the GCE A-Levels.
- Students pursuing a master’s degree should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or 2.75 or a bachelor’s degree in the sciences with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 or 3.0.
- It is preferred that candidates have at least three years of work experience in the field.
- Students are exposed to various facets of the aerospace industry through the aerospace engineering program. Students will have the chance to discover which area of engineering best suits their interests, skills, and passions.

Direct Route
- Students in the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering’s elementary school’s fifth grade can choose a direct pathway to enroll in the school’s sixth grade.
- You must submit an on-time 2023–24 RSCO online application with the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering as your top preference in order to be considered for this direct pathway placement.
- This report, titled “School Report Card,” was created by the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) and contains details on student enrollment, academic performance, and teacher and student diversity, among other things.
